Flying Colors
About Flying Colors
In 1975, in California, a group of artists, including Candace Loheed and Bean Finneran started a jewelry business called Parrot Pearls. Their trademark pieces were ceramic necklaces and pins made with bright, colorful beads in fanciful shapes like animals, bugs and flowers. In the 1980’s Parrot Pearls split off into Flying Colors and Ruby Z. To learn more about their business and ceramic jewelry you can refer to Inside the Jewelry Box, Volume 2 by Ann Mitchell Pitman.
