N-009 Flying Colors Monkey & Bananas Ceramic Necklace
Vintage, unique necklace made by Flying Colors from the 1980's - early 1990's. All beads are ceramic - no chips or cracks. There is minimal crazing which is typical of vintage ceramic jewelry. Please review photos carefully before purchase.
- Monkey measures approximately 2-1/4" by 1-1/2"
- Necklace is about 17-1/2" long
- Back of monkey is signed Flying Colors
- Closure is a silver, barrel clasp
About Flying Colors
In 1975, in California, a group of artists, including Candace Loheed and Bean Finneran started a jewelry business called Parrot Pearls. Their trademark pieces were ceramic necklaces and pins made with bright, colorful beads in fanciful shapes like animals, bugs and flowers.
